I am Bronwyn Blodgett of Blodgett Family Photography. I am a Knoxville Maternity Photographer. Maternity Sessions are among my favorite kinds of sessions to do, and I think that maternity photos are very important. I’m always so excited when a mommy-to-be chooses me to be their Knoxville Maternity Photographer. There’s something so very special about maternity photos.
This is the third session that I have done for the Thompson’s! We started with their pregnancy announcement & family photos in the Spring. Then we did some fun Princess photos for Addy’s birthday. Jessica was 36 weeks pregnant when we did this maternity session and it’s a good thing we did them because she went into labor about a week later! That’s why I always recommend having your maternity photos done between 30-36 weeks, you just never know when your baby will decide to come.
We started their Maternity session down by the French Broad River. It was a beautiful fall day with just a little bit of chill in the air. Definitely the perfect weather to do maternity photos!
We moved up to the hill where there was some beautiful light peeking through the trees and a hint of fall colors. A dog decided to join us, he was very friendly, and Brad & Addy just had to have a picture with him! If you look closely you can see him photobombing in the background of a lot of the photos!
Jessica picked the perfect clothes for her family and looked beautiful in her olive green dress. My favorite photos of a family are always the candid ones, the ones with genuine smiles, where everyone is just happy and having fun together. Addy has the cutest dimples and is always laughing at something her daddy, Brad, is doing!
Brad & Addy went down the hill and played frisbee together for a few minutes while I took some special photos of Jessica.

Then I had Brad come back and took some pictures with just the two of them. I always think it’s important to get some photos of the parents alone together. I like to see the way that couples look at each other, the way they touch, and the way they laugh together.
After this we went down to the pond. We all love the beautiful willow trees that grow around the pond and knew we wanted to do some photos down there.
Addy has been so excited about her new baby brother! She couldn’t wait for him to be here so she could hold him.
Then we got a couple more family photos as the sun was going down. Addy loves her parents and you can definitely see the love they have for her.
I’m so glad that we were able to get these maternity photos done in time! I love this family and am super excited to be doing baby Ayden’s newborn pictures this afternoon! You can see his Fresh 48 photos here.
I love being a Knoxville Maternity Photographer. If you’re pregnant, Contact Me to book a maternity session! You’ll never regret having these photos done, but you probably will regret it if you don’t. I serve the Knoxville, Maryville, Seymour & Sevier County Area.
